Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, developmental delays, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. Our SLPs provide quality neuroaffirming therapy to children of all ages.
All therapists on our team have earned their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and have provided pediatric speech therapy for at least 3+ years. Individuals with this certification must complete rigorous graduate course work and clinical practicums in various settings with both pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations at a college or university whose program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA). This assures graduates that their academic and clinical experience meets nationally established standards.
Pediatric occupational therapists (Pediatric OTs) are specialized occupational therapists who focus on the development, health, and well-being of children from infancy through adolescence. Their work is centered on helping children achieve their developmental milestones and engage in meaningful activities, such as playing, learning, and interacting with others.
