Do you accept insurance? If no, how much does therapy cost?

If you have insurance, you may be able to see any therapist you like and get reimbursed for some or all of your out-of-pocket expenses by using the "out-of-network" benefit offered by many insurance companies.

We can issue you a receipt (a superbill) for you to submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement.

As a "out-of-network" service provider, many insurance companies will pay 50-100% of our normal rate.

Please call our office at  (678 )653-2035 for more details.

How long will my child need therapy?

It is not possible to say how long your child will be in therapy. Each child is unique. Each family’s ability to support their child in therapy is different. It is important for you to know that we want your child to finish therapy as quickly as they are able. We have to meet children where they are at and move them along, helping them progress and achieve their goals. For the most part, there is no quick fix and some issues can take a long time to remediate.

Do you offer in-home speech and occupational therapy?

Yes, our therapists come to you. For details contact us today. Therapy is also provided in community-based environments such as childcare centers, schools, aftercare programs, and ABA centers.

Do my child need to be re-evaluated, if they've been recently tested?

Your child does not require additional testing as long as the previous evaluation was conducted within the past 6 months from the start of services. A Plan of Care (POC) will be developed and provided to the parent(s)/guardian(s) within 48 hours after the intake forms are completed and received. Our office requires re-evaluations using standardized assessments every 6 months (or 180 days) to monitor progress and make any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan.

Do you provide therapy for adults?

Yes, our clinic provides therapy to adults over 18 years of age. Please contact our office to obtain additional information.

Can I request longer sessions for my child?

Yes, our therapists can accommodate longer sessions, such as 45 minutes or mor ,if it meets your child’s needs. We also take into account your child's attention span based on her age, referencing established medical and developmental research on attention span standards. Please note that a 45-minute session will be billed at the hourly rate.

How do I know if my child needs occupational therapy?

Signs that a child may benefit from occupational therapy include difficulty with fine motor skills (e.g., holding a pencil, buttoning clothes), challenges with sensory processing (e.g., sensitivity to textures or noises), delays in developmental milestones, or struggles with social interactions and self-care tasks.

Additional Sign that your child might benefit from occupational therapy include:

  • Academic or Behavioral Issues: Trouble in school or difficulties with social interactions and self-care.

Where is the location of your office and the areas you serve?

We do not have a traditional brick-and-mortar location. We provide comprehensive speech, language, and occupational therapeutic services in a child's most naturalistic environment (e.g., daycare, camps, school, aftercare program, etc.).  We also offer telehealth services to provide flexibility and convenience for families and children's schedules, including extracurricular activities.   We proudly provide services within an 11-mile radius from our registered office address, including the areas of Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Decatur, Marietta, Smyrna, Midtown Atlanta, West Midtown, North Druid Hills, Tucker, and parts of Cobb and DeKalb Counties.

Do you offer virtual speech therapy or Teletherapy?

Yes, we offer teletherapy services for speech and occupational therapy.

How are services billed?

Services are billed at the time they are rendered, meaning you will receive an invoice on the same day, no later than midnight following the completion of the session.
