We provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, including assessments for alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) systems. Our pediatric occupational therapy evaluations focus on identifying individual needs to support development and enhance daily living skills. Each evaluation is tailored to create personalized intervention plans that promote effective communication and overall well-being. 

We offer speech and language screenings to a variety of community partners such as daycares, private schools, and more.

Occupational therapy services include fine and gross motor development, sensory processing, self-regulation, visual motor skills, social-emotional skills, executive functioning, dry needling, and more. 

  Articulation disorders in children involve difficulties with producing specific speech sounds, leading to errors such as distortions and substitutions.  

Developmental delays in language onset with no other diagnosed disabilities or developmental delays in other cognitive or motor domains. Toddlers may also be referred to as "late talkers" or "late language learners (LLE)." Children with LLE may have expressive language delays only, or they may have mixed expressive and receptive delays.

 A child with a receptive language disorder has trouble understanding words that they hear and read.

A child with an expressive language disorder has trouble speaking with others and expressing thoughts and feelings.

 Social communication disorder (SCD) is characterized by persistent difficulties with the use of verbal and nonverbal language for social purposes.

 Social communication behaviors such as eye contact, facial expressions, and body language are influenced by sociocultural and individual factors (Curenton & Justice, 2004; Inglebret et al., 2008). There 

 A fluency disorder is an interruption in the flow of speaking characterized by atypical rate, rhythm, and disfluencies (e.g., repetitions of sounds, syllables, words, and phrases; sound prolongations; and blocks), which may also be accompanied by excessive tension, speaking avoidance, struggle behaviors, and secondary mannerisms (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association [ASHA], 1993). 

We offer comprehensive Special Education Consultation (IEP) consultations and advocacy for parent(s) and guardian(s) for children in various Georgia school districts.  

 We offer high-quality and dynamic speech therapy via telehealth/virtual in the comfort of a setting of your choice.

 Our evaluations include a thorough assessment of speech articulation, language comprehension, expressive language, and communication skills. We use a combination of standardized tests and observational methods to get a complete picture of your child’s abilities.
