Marion first discovered her passion for occupational therapy when she joined a group called Friends Club in the 6th grade, where she helped children with special needs engage in various activities. She is a two-time graduate of Brenau University, earning her Master’s in Occupational Therapy in December 2021, after receiving her BS in Psychology in May 2018. During her graduate studies, Marion had the opportunity to work in various settings, including pediatric outpatient, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), and hands and upper extremities adult outpatient therapy. She also had the privilege of conducting research under her thesis chair on the differences in everyday cognition between older and younger adults. After receiving her occupational therapy license, Marion began working in hands and upper extremity therapy and soon transitioned into pediatric and school-based settings. This transition has enriched her extensive experience working with children facing emotional disorders, sensory processing issues, auditory processing difficulties, visual processing disorders, visual perceptual challenges, and deficits in fine and gross motor skills, as well as developmental delays. Additionally, Marion is certified in dry needling (DNT).
